Sale Headquarters will be at the Chamber office located on the southeast corner of Third and Locust Streets. Bidder numbers can be purchased at the Headquarters.  Please pay for your items before you leave at Headquarters.


Sponsoring the sale for the 66th year is the Fairbury Area Chamber of Commerce, Fairbury Dairy Queen, Dave’s Supermarket, Fairbury Vision Center, Sealtite Insulation and Coatings, Gerber Real Estate, Petersen’s Chevrolet, Leman Paint Works, JR Electric, White’s Distribution, First State Bank of Forrest, The Business Connection, F & R Lawncare, Metz-Stoller Insurance, Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Bluestem Bank, Branch of Bank of Pontiac, and K & S Ford.  Proceeds from this year’s sale will be used for special projects of the Chamber. Items may be donated for the event. Please notify the person who registers you at the seller check-in if you would like to donate the proceeds of your items.


Items will be accepted starting at 6:00 a.m. Items to be sold must be in place by 9:30 a.m. that day.  Enter sale area at the intersection of First & Locust and proceed east.  All items for one seller will be tagged as one lot, but sold individually or in-groups as needed.  Minimum bids are not accepted at check-in or to auctioneers.  Seller is responsible for buy at a fee of $1.00 and seller will need buyer’s number.  Seller wanting minimum bid must be with their merchandise at time it is auctioned.


$2.00 Fee Per Buyers Number; $1 for duplicate

$3.00 per item (or group of items) sold up to $29.00. Items over $29.00 will be charged 15% per item.  All items that do not bring over $3.00 are considered donated.  All vehicles must have a clear title deposited at the Sale Headquarters prior to sale along with $15.00, which will be applied toward commission. NO refunds for the deposit if vehicle not sold. Owners should represent their merchandise.  Seller is responsible for buy back at a fee of $1.00, must show buyers number.  All major appliances will have a $15.00 deposit due at the time of check-in, which will be refunded if the item is sold or reclaimed by the seller.  Car Tires require a $5.00 deposit.

All payouts for items sold will be made within 14 business days following the sale, including refunds for appliance deposits.  No firearms, paint, oil or hazardous materials will be sold.  No LP tanks, tractor or truck tires will be accepted.  Checks will be mailed within 14 business days following the sale. The Chamber Of Commerce and Auctioneers do not assume any responsibility for accidents, misrepresentation, or missing items before or after purchase.  Pick up your item at the time of purchase and pay promptly-Cash or good check.  Announcements the day of the sale take precedence over printed material.  Items not picked up 2 hours after the sale will be discarded.
